Concerned for the Environment and aware of the important contribution that private business can make, we have embarked on Research and Development into Renewable Energies in the ambit of liquid and solid Bio fuels as well as in the field of Solar Energy: Together with ENDESA and Técnicas Reunidas, we are participating partners in the Green Fuel Corporación to produce biodiesel both in the domestic and international markets. We undertake studies on cane sugar agro-industrial complexes for the production of bio-ethanol. R&D projects are being performed with a view to introducing new herbaceous (miscanthus, switchgrass, brassica carinata, pataca, etc.) and short rotation coppices (SRC). We are offering technical support to promote solar energy farms and solar-thermal energy plants.
